Berat
Berat is inscribed as rare examples of an architectural character typical of the Ottoman period. Located in central Albania, the 2,400 year old city and pride of Albanain architecture, Berat is treasure of culture and a symbol of religious coexistence, inscribed in the Unesco Worl Heritage list since 2008. Often called the "City of a Thousand Windows” because of the white Ottoman -era houses in the old city with their numerous windows.
